Originally recorded by The Stylistics in 1971, the timeless song returns in a fresh new interpretation that pairs East Bay Soul vocalist Terrell Edwards\u2019 soulful Jazz\/R&B delivery with the distinctive pop-Jazz vocal style of special guest, Darelle Holden.<\/p>\n

Backed by the all-star East Bay Soul rhythm section and featuring Greg Adams\u2019 signature horn and string arrangements, this new version brings renewed energy and contemporary perspective to a song whose message remains just as relevant 55 years later.<\/p>\n

Holden brings an impressive history to the recording, having toured with Sir Tom Jones for 18 years, with Jones himself praising her as \u201can outstanding vocalist.\u201d Edwards has spent years performing for audiences around the world, including opening for Jay Leno at The Mirage in Las Vegas, and currently fronts his own international Motown revue when he is not performing with Greg Adams & East Bay Soul.<\/p>\n
